The cottage provided excellent facilities and had a beautiful decor. Each bedroom had a clean and spacious ensuite shower/bathroom. The kitchen was well-equipped and there was even a washing machine available. The staff were friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations about the local area. Additionally, the surroundings were stunning, offering a peaceful and remote atmosphere.

Finding the accommodation was a bit challenging, especially if relying on GPS coordinates. The narrow and steep roads and track leading to the cottages could be difficult to navigate.

Our stay at Middlehead Cottages was absolutely amazing. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by a friendly host who gave us a full tour of the beautiful cottage. The tasteful decorations and cleanliness really stood out, making us feel right at home. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we were pleasantly surprised to find milk and bread left for us. Our furry friend also had a great time with the private garden and treats that were provided. The highlight of our stay was definitely the hot tub, which was perfect for relaxing and stargazing. The location was ideal for those seeking peace and quiet, surrounded by lovely countryside. We can't wait to go back and recharge our batteries in this exceptional place.

There was nothing to dislike about our stay at Middlehead Cottages. The only thing to be mindful of is the fact that the property is located down a narrow lane, which might not be ideal for those who prefer a more urban setting.

The location was stunning, surrounded by forests and offering the perfect escape from the city. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome.

Food for breakfast could have been better with more variety and options to choose from.

We were pleasantly surprised with the warm welcome we received upon arrival. the host greeted us and showed us around the cottage, which was a nice touch. They even provided a welcome pack with tea, coffee, bread, milk, butter, and jams. Another advantage was the beautiful and tasteful decor of the cottage, which created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. the cleanliness of the place was exceptional, and there was no sign of dog hair, which was great for those with allergies.

The location. the property is quite secluded, located down a lane about 2 miles from the main road.

We got great value for our money at Middlehead Cottages. The room was cozy and well-maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect for us nature lovers, offering peaceful seclusion and beautiful walks in the forest. The staff, especially Tom and Louise, were friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home.

Breakfast delights, it would have been nice to have more options closer to the cottages.

I recently stayed at a lovely property that exceeded my expectations in terms of quietness and tranquility. The surroundings were beautiful, with plenty of nature to enjoy. The cottage was well-equipped and spacious, and the ensuite shower/bathrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen had everything I needed and the staff were friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoyed the peacefulness of the location, and the opportunity to see various birds and wildlife. The property also provided a great base for exploring the North Yorkshire Moors and going on walks. I had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend this property.

While the access road to the property is as expected for a remote location, I would advise against driving it in the dark. Additionally, I did struggle a bit to get hot water, which was linked to having the electric radiators on.

I had a fantastic stay at a cosy cottage in rural Yorkshire. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and very helpful. They provided excellent directions, which was especially helpful since GPS coordinates can be tricky. The cottage itself was well-appointed and had everything I needed. The kitchen facilities were excellent, and the cottage was spotless. The location was exceptional, with stunning views of the land and lake beyond. I loved watching the birds feeding off the midges. The hosts even provided citronella items to protect against flies, which was a thoughtful touch. The hot tub was sparkling clean and a true delight. I highly recommend this beautiful holiday destination.

Though it was my mistake, finding the cottage using GPS coordinates proved to be a bit challenging. However, my wife had no trouble finding it using her phone.

The cottage at Middlehead Cottages was absolutely stunning and exceeded all of our expectations. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a beautifully decorated space that had everything we needed and more. The attention to detail was impeccable, and it truly felt like a home away from home. The surrounding countryside was breathtaking, providing a peaceful and tranquil atmosphere that allowed us to relax and recharge. We especially enjoyed the garden area and the hot tub, which provided the perfect end to our days. Despite the remote location, the hosts made sure we felt welcomed and taken care of throughout our stay. We couldn't have asked for a better place to escape to and would highly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful and relaxing break or holiday.
